David versus Goliath

Never in modern world politics has the presidential election of any country gotten the world so riveted and on edge like the just-concluded U. S presidential election tug of war between Donald J. Trump (Republican) and Hillary Clinton (Democrat). Going into the campaign the odds were heavily stacked against Trump. Most political observers saw it as a clear and quick win for Clinton the favorite, and that Trump stood no chance.
